Finally a one-stop shop + New Spring Patterns

Just in case you missed the announcement yesterday…You can FINALLY shop/search all of the big five patterns on one website. That’s right Simplicity.com is now the home for Simplicity, McCalls, Vogue, Butterick, Know Me and New Look. No more somethingdelightful.com (which never made sense anyway). This will make it easier to search and purchase all of the big four patterns. Though unfortunately this will break all of my pinterest links, oh well…maybe this is a good motivator to update my pattern inventory.

This new site also launches the spring releases from McCalls, Know Me, Butterick and New Look. So below I share which patterns caught my eye.

Know Me

  • Know Me 2033 - I love good colorblocked outfit so I am very excited about this one. This combo makes for a really chic yet cozy set. I could totally it in bold bright contrasting color (orange/blue, purple/yellow), neutrals (like flax/khaki or white/gray) or a more monochromatic look (think pink/red or baby blue/navy). I’m definitely thinking linen for this set.

  • Know Me 2032 - I just purchased the Simplicity 9745 that dropped in their spring release so I don’t really need another slip dress pattern. I also have the September dress by Staystitch patterns which is similar but I’m still going to grab this one because I really like the double strap.

  • Know Me 2027 - Another colorblock pattern and I’m getting this one too. I love the white, red and black (or is that navy) color combo Keechi used for the cover and I honestly don’t think I can come up with another combo to top it, but I might try.

  • Know Me 2034 - I love this look of a blazer dress, but I have at least 3 of these types of pattern. So while I love it, I have to pass this time.

  • Know Me 2036 - I just can’t think about coats when the temps are in the 80s like they are where I am. Still I love details, that shoulder!

McCalls

  • McCalls 8383 - I think I’m ashamed to admit that I wasn’t familiar with Brandi Joan prior to her partnership with McCalls, because I’m loving her patterns. I’m a sucker for a bodycon dress and this one adds a modest back cut out and a curved side slit.

I’m not sure I’ll purchase either of the vintage patterns, but I might.

    • McCalls 8379 - I’ve said it before I have too many wrap dress patterns, but this one seems to be different. The line drawing shows the wrap in the back and I’m intrigued.

    • McCalls 8379 - I love a one shoulder garment and I think I prefer this one to Simplicity 9746. kkk

Butterick

Not sure that I’ll purchase either of these, but I really like them.

  • Butterick 6934 - I love a wrap skirt and i need to sew more of them. I do have a few wrap skirt patterns I like how this one reminds me more of a tropical sarong.

  • Butterick 6930/6931 - This top seems flattering with is wrapped bodice and raglan sleeves. I could achieve a similar look using McCalls 8035 but this may be different enough to warrant a purchase

New Look

Seemingly New Look also had a spring drop though most of the patterns look familiar . The appear to be rereleases of McCalls and Simplicity patterns just missing a few views. I just shared three examples above.

What are your thoughts about these springs patterns? Are you excited that all the patterns can be found on one site? I am!
