Styling My Vacation Set

I love the pattern overload of all three pieces together, but some may find it a bit much. If that’s you, you can still sew this set but maybe only sew one or two pieces in a print and the rest in a solid. Say a print halter with a solid button up and pants. OR they reverse - sewing the button up and pants in a print with a solid halter top.

Another option would certainly be make all three pieces in a solid for a monochromatic look.

Or you could sew all three pieces in a print, but break it up by styling the separates with other solid pieces like I’ve done below.

  1. All three pieces for maximum effect when you really want to stand out.

I paired this with black wooden earrings and my clear Mix 6 heels.

  2. Add a pop of color with a bright top with the button up and pants.

This is a target top from a few years back and black wedges.

  3. Just the halter and pants are perfect for a brunch look.

I added gold accessories and my white two strap sandals from Target

  4. Keep it simple with a solid top paired with the pants and flat sandals.

This top is actually a bodysuit (ME2043). I dressed it down with my platform sandals from WalMart, but keep it cute with chunky black wood accessories.

  5. Use the button up as a layering piece over separates or a jumpsuit.

This is the same bodysuit along with ponte pull on pants from Old Navy to give the look of a jumpsuit.

  6. Pair the halter with a skirt and heels for a sexy date night look.

This asymmetrical, gathered skirt adds some sexy to the halter top and these strappy heels really add umph.

  7. Wear the shirt as a dress. Dress it up with wedges, keep it casual with flats or choose sneakers for comfort.
