Fabricista Fashion Challenge - Week 2 Wrap It Up!
First of all that I want to THANK everyone who voted for me to get me through the first week of competition. Though I did not win, I'm sew happy that I am still in the running. WHEW! Congratulations to Kristin of SunnySewing for winning the Handmade Remake challenge with her amazing transformation of a maxi skirt into a dress.With that said we're moving right on to the second challenge. This is the Wrap It Up challenge. The instructions are basically to create a wrap dress inspired by a Diane von Furstenberg (the mother of wrap dress) design. I love wrap dresses and love every variation of the original DVF wrap dress. With the last challenge I really only had two choices and this week I feel like I have infinite possibilities. I need to narrow down my focus and quickly because just like last week I only have until Tuesday, September 22 to complete and submit my entry. Wish me luck!!!Don't forget to sew along with us!!!
